2. Flower Essence Pick of the Month Prickly Ash By Lesley Bonisteel Prickly Ash has become one of Clear Path's most popular essences. It provides protection in our environment and strengthens the immune system. These attributes have made Prickly Ash essence an invaluable addition to the first aid kit and remedy collection. It strengthens the light of the aura and also helps expand our capacity for perspective and fairness. Many people have described this essence as a good "rescue" essence. If you are familiar with the plant Prickly Ash (Zanthoxylum clava-herculis) you have probably found that its ability to protect an environment is fierce. It grows quickly and spreads throughout moist woods and thickets creating an impenetrable boundary to most passersby. Along with its sharp prickly thorns, you will recognize it by its compound leaves - 5 to 11 oval leaflets which are lemon scented when crushed. Its fruit is a red-greenish berry covered with lemon-scented dots seen from August to October. The Prickly Ash essence is associated with the lung meridian and the issue worth.
